You will be a member of a multi-disciplinary team of subject matter experts committed to developing the next generation of our products! This role is integral to unifying our mobile product line, driving the product roadmap, and ultimately simplifying the user experience for our customers. You will work directly with iOS, Android, and backend engineers, as well as cross-functional teams, to build mobile app experiences that enable our customers to run their businesses on the go!What you'll get to doCollect customer, sales, and market input for product use cases, validate those across the target markets for the product, and then build product requirements docs for each release of the productSupport development in building detailed engineering requirements to the individual feature levelDefine and drive product roadmaps, feature prioritization and track corresponding engineering releasesCapture requirements and feedback from early adopter customers and incorporate into roadmapWork cross-functionally with other Splunk product teams to deliver unified valueSupport product training and sales activitiesServe as the subject matter guide to Splunk’s field operations on our mobile productsCollaborate with product marketing to support creation of customer driven messaging and contentHelp formulate and execute GTM strategy, driving early adoption and measuring successCollaborate with external partners and industry experts to stay abreast of trends and advancements, integrating relevant insights into our mobile roadmapOpportunitiesGrow your accessibility expertise and deepen your knowledge of best practices for digital products and experiencesCollaborate closely with a complementary team of designers, product managers, and engineers, refining your collaborative and communication skills in a multi-disciplinary environmentTake on leadership opportunities within the PX Enablement & Systems team, contributing to critical initiativesBroaden your impact by developing and driving training programs, educating teams on best practices and ensuring widespread adoption across the organization.Must-have QualificationsA minimum of 5 years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree; or 3 years and a Master’s degree; or a PhD without experience; or equivalent work experience3–5 years of product management experience; at least 2 years mobile-specifcSolid understanding of mobile platforms differences, advantages and platform-specific hardware and software limitations of mobile ecosystemStrong understanding of mobile applications development and release cycles, incl. implementing new features and sunsetting old features for deprecated devicesFamiliarity with using mobile analytics tools (e.g., Firebase, Mixpanel, Splunk) to drive data-informed decisionsFamiliarity with app store submission processes, guidelines, and review criteria for both Apple App Store and Google Play StoreAwareness of privacy regulations and compliance requirements (e.g., GDPR, CCPA) relevant to mobile apps.Self-motivation and a strong passion for collaboration and partnershipExcellent analytical, problem-solving, and reporting skillsAbility to work across multiple functions spanning various levels of the organizationStrong project execution skills, attention to detail and quality, and a risk-mitigation mentalityStrong written and verbal communication skillsNice to have QualificationsKnowledge of iOS and Android design guidelines and user interface principles.Experience with mobile accessibility solutionsExperience with chart and data driven productsKnowledge of at least one OTA translation services like LokaliseMeet the Products and Technology TeamWant to build security and observability products people love AND work with people as smart (and humble) as you are? SF Bay Area, Seattle Metro, and New York City Metro Area
Base Pay Range: $133,600.00 - 183,700.00 per year
California (excludes SF Bay Area), Washington (excludes Seattle Metro), Washington DC Metro, and Massachusetts
Base Pay Range: $120,240.00 - 165,330.00 per year
All other cities and states excluding California, Washington, Massachusetts, New York City Metro Area and Washington DC Metro Area.
Base Pay Range: $106,880.00 - 146,960.00 per year
Splunk provides flexibility and choice in the working arrangement for most roles, including remote and/or in-office roles. We have a market-based pay structure which varies by location. Please note that the base pay range is a guideline and for candidates who receive an offer, the base pay will vary based on factors such as work location as set out above, as well as the knowledge, skills and experience of the candidate. In addition to base pay, this role is eligible for incentive compensation and may be eligible for equity or long-term cash awards.
