Mobile Roofing Technician Job ID 180685 Posted 15-Aug-2024 Service line GWS Segment Role type Full-time Areas of Interest Engineering/Maintenance Location(s) Baltimore - Maryland - United States of America **Responsibilities** Working under limited supervision when supporting assigned service calls, uses experience and skills to perform a variety of maintenance, repairs, and roofing-related services within a geographical area/route potentially across multiple sites. Inspects and monitors various types of commercial roofing systems to determine proper maintenance and repair solutions Assists with installation, repair, and modification of various types of commercial roofing systems which may include: EPDM (ethylene propylene diene monomer), TPO (thermoplastic polyolefin), PVC (polyvinyl chloride), Silicone coatings, Spray foam systems, and BUR (Built-Up Roofing) Systems Reviews assigned work orders. Estimates time and materials needed to complete repair. Orders necessary materials and supplies to complete all tasks. Uses CMMS to manage work orders and track completion Inspects roof system installations and repairs for quality and compliance with applicable building codes / safety regulations Maintains integrity of roofing systems by performing such tasks as inspections, removal of foreign or organic debris Coordinates and inspects the work performed by outside contractors Performs assigned day-to-day repairs, emergency repairs, and preventive maintenance. Completes' maintenance and repairs, records as required Report and communicate daily all work activity via PDA device Ability to comprehend and interpret instructions, short correspondence, and memos and ask clarifying questions to ensure understanding. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from clients, co-workers, and/or supervisor Ability to understand and carry out general instructions. Ability to solve problems in standard situations. Requires basic analytical skills Uses computer and / or PDA for work order system, email, and training. Basic skills with Microsoft Office Outlook.
