Mobile/Transportables Team Lead

The mission of the Lone Wolf program is to support, operate, and maintain the Distributed Continuity Integrated Network – Top Secret Enterprise Services (DCIN-TS ES) which is a DoD-provided, TS/SCI, integrated voice, video, and data, global communications network that facilitates collaboration among senior leaders and key staff. The Lone Wolf program boasts a professional workforce comprised of specialists throughout the Information Technology lifecycle and who contribute to a positive work environment.

Responsibilities\: 
The duties and responsibilities of the Mobile/Transportable Communications Team Lead include, but are not limited to, the following\:

Manage the administrative and operational roles and responsibilities of 8 members of the transportable team.  Manage the deployment of mobile kits and ensure end users have reliable network connectivity.  Direct the team with system installations, maintenance, and troubleshooting.  Organize and direct the configuration and operation of information management systems over mobile platforms.  Assist with the integration of network and hardware infrastructure including the planning, design, installation, maintenance, and management of the enterprise LAN/WAN, with a focus on Mobile (Fly-Away) products.  Ensure the team has comprehensive knowledge of the organization’s hardware, software, and network components in addition to knowledge of programming languages and operating systems, current equipment and technologies in use, enterprise backup and recovery procedures, and system performance monitoring tools.  Provide the day-to-day system administration to include system and resource optimization, and user assistance.  Increase system administrator efficiency and accuracy via the use of automated tools and scripts, develops system administrator procedures, and conducts system administrator training and skills assessment.  Plan, organize, and document complex system design activities and configure systems to be consistent with the government policies and procedures. Identify and diagnose complex performance, security, and technical issues.  Develop, document, exercise, and audit standard operating procedures (SOP). Plan, schedule, organize, and conduct relevant training for team as well as customers. *

Requirements\:

Experience with at least one project management methodology (Agile, ITIL, etc.)    Working knowledge of IT infrastructure.    Strong Windows OS remote desktop administration skills. Familiarity with the following technologies\: Active Directory, DHCP, DNS, MECM, Cisco IOS, SolarWinds, Nessus, Citrix VDI, Service Now, and Remedy.  Experience with installation and configuration of enterprise network and systems infrastructure devices, cabling, and operational best practices.  Experience with MS Office products, specifically Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Teams, Project, and Viseo.  Exceptional attention to detail; excellent verbal and written communication skills; strong critical thinking, organizational, time-management, and problem-solving skills.       Ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a dynamic environment.  Ability to travel (about 25%) primarily throughout the National Capital Region but may include other CONUS locations.

Clearance Required\:  

Must have active Top Secret clearance with SCI or the ability to acquire Top Secret/SCI.

Minimum Education\:  

High School Diploma 

Minimum Years of Experience\:  

At least 5 years of experience 

Required Certifications\: 

DODD 8140/8570 IAT Level 2 certification (or higher) required (such as CCNA Security, Security CE, GICSP, GSEC, or SSCP).

Preferred\: 

ITIL v4 Foundations  PMP or Several Years of Project Management Experience
