Avera is now hiring a Mobile Unit Driver to support Avera's Blood Donor Services!    You will be serving communities across SD, IA and MN.

Job Summary

Responsible for transport of bloodmobile to and from mobile site, minor maintenance and repair of vehicle, inventory and resupply of consumables, cleaning of mobile before, during and after blood drives and assisting with registration and processing of donors as directed by the Mobile Unit Supervisor. 

Education and/or Experience

High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred; or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience required.

CERTIFICATION, LICENSURE, and/or REGISTRATIONS 

Class B Commercial Driver's License is required. Successful completion of a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical and drug screening is required. Air Brake Certification required within 30 days of employment.

Work Schedule

Varied Shifts - Primarily Monday to Friday; Occasional Saturday  4 to 8 hours shifts; ranging from 5am to 7pm  PRN - work as needed; Potentially 1 - 2 days/week 

Pay

The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience. 

$21.25 - $26.50 per hour
