Our operation is growing, and we are looking for a qualified fitter (or fitter/machinist) with good all-around mechanical skills, willing to take on a diverse mechanical fitting role, including workshop and on-site tasks. We are looking for a **Modernization and BEX Sales Consultant** based in Mascot. This role reports to the Sales and Service Operations Manager. **Key Responsibilities** + Generate Modernization sales leads from construction lead indicators, industry reports, tenders, personal sales research, and customer networks. + Determine client requirements and design parameters quickly to configure Electra products/solutions and be able to assist in the development of future construction projects to maximize Otis’s opportunity to secure new business. + Develop and implement a strategy to maximize Electra's opportunity for acceptance of proposals. + Conduct negotiations with clients, gaining progressive support from local management and Support Departments depending on the project size. + Interact with senior management within Electra and OTIS to develop sales strategies and value propositions and manage the sales through OTIS sales processes. **What you will need to be successful** + Preferably hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Engineering, or its equivalent. + Experience working within a large, matrixed company environment and proven sales track record for developing and selling large deals. + Sales experience within the Lift or Engineering industry will be preferred. + Good knowledge of using technology,y including mobile applications and computer-based reporting systems (Word, Excel, Email, Internet, database management) to analyze data and trends. + Strong verbal and communication skills. + Have exceptional time management skills and possess strong organizational abilities. + Excellent attention to detail and results-driven.
