Aspirus Wausau Hospital in Wausau, WI is seeking a Modality Specialist-Interventional Radiology to join our team!
The Imaging Modality Specialist acts as the lead tech within one or more imaging modalities: MRI, CT, Mammography, Interventional Radiology, Diagnostic X-Ray, Nuclear Medicine, US, and Radiology Prep. Has technical oversight of assigned modalities with respect to new implementations, quality assurance activities, and training and competency of staff. Performs job duties within scope of practice(s).
HOURS: 1.0 FTE/80 hours every two weeks
Experience/Qualifications
Knowledge of imaging standards and practices normally acquired through graduation from a formal accredited imaging program.Previous work experience in an imaging department preferred.Experience in leading or managing a team is desired.Knowledge of patient care standards and practices normally acquired through completion of an imaging or nursing program (as applicable)Current BLS certification or obtained within 90 days of hire.Licensed or credentialed in area of practice per applicable job description.Demonstrates basic knowledge of PACS and RIS.Employee Benefits
