\t\t\t\t\tWe seek a highly skilled and experienced Modeling and Simulation Architect to join our Strategic Systems Program (SSP) team. The successful candidate will design, develop, and implement advanced modeling and simulation (M&S) solutions to support complex decision-making processes within the SSP program. This role requires a strong understanding of systems engineering principles, expertise in various modeling techniques, and the ability to lead cross functional teams in delivering high-fidelity simulations that meet stringent requirements.Key Responsibilities: - Collaborate with subject matter experts, engineers, and other stakeholders to define analytic questions, problem statements, and scope boundaries that guide M&S activities.- Lead the development of experimentation plans, including experimental design, data collection, analysis, visualization, and reporting, to extract actionable insights from simulations.- Design, develop, and validate high-fidelity simulation models and experiments using state of-the-art tools and techniques, ensuring they meet performance, accuracy, and scalability requirements.- Establish and enforce M&S best practices, standards, and methodologies across the SSP program, ensuring consistency, quality, and traceability in all modeling efforts.- Manage and mentor a team of M&S engineers, providing technical guidance, fostering professional development, and promoting a culture of continuous improvement.- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate simulation models into broader system engineering processes, such as requirements management, design, testing, and validation.- Represent the SSP program in M&S-related forums, conferences, and standardization efforts, sharing knowledge and driving innovation in the field.- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, guidelines, and organizational policies throughout the M&S lifecycle.- Continuously evaluate emerging technologies and trends in modeling and simulation, identifying opportunities for improvement and innovation within the SSP program.

\t\t\t\t\t- Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or a related STEM field- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in modeling and simulation, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.- Experience with designing and developing federated modeling and simulation capabilities- Demonstrated expertise in modeling techniques, including discrete event simulation, agent based modeling, system dynamics, and/or physics-based simulation.- Proven track record of designing, developing, and implementing high-fidelity simulation models for complex systems.- Proficiency in M&S tools and programming languages, such as Arena, Extend, Simul8, AnyLogic, MATLAB/Simulink, Python, or C++.- Proficiency with visualization and analysis tools including 2D and 3D (Augmented Reality(AR)/Virtual Reality(VR)) modalities.- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, concise, and actionable insights.- Experience leading cross-functional teams in delivering M&S solutions within a defense or aerospace context is highly desirable.- Eligible for Secret/Top-Secret security clearance

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $64.00 - $84.50/hr.
