Job Description: \n

Responsibilities\n

The MSE will develop and run simulations to analyze the impact of technology integrations and changes in network architecture. The MSE's full time duty location will be onsite at Shaw AFB, SC but travel may be required to countries within the CENTCOM Area of Operations.\n

Job duties: \n\nResearch and design wide area networks either as new networks or to modify existing networks. Design and implementation must be fully documented with engineering plans to detail the complete process from inception to implementation.\nRecommend appropriate changes\/resolutions in response to tactical and strategic trend analysis derived from network and systems models.\nProvide technical support to technology upgrades and new technology integrations to ensure interoperability with existing architecture.\nIdentify opportunities to increase efficiency and productivity with automation across all NOSC functional areas.\nDevelop automation strategies and processes that support and align with organization \nSupport network troubleshooting and enhancement efforts by identifying sub-standard network and\/or application configurations and behavior.\nCoordinate with AFCENT, USCENTCOM, and DISA engineering teams to design and implement ways to automate network\/systems engineering processes.\n Integrate tools and processes to manage networks using software to automatically provision, configure, deploy, and test network\/system infrastructures.\nDevelop and implement programming and automation tools to change and deploy network\/system infrastructures.\n\n

Qualifications\n\nSenior-level and higher- B.S. in related field AND 5 or more years relevant experience; or 7 or more years relevant experience AND Unix\/Linux experience. \nMid-level or lower- Associates in related field and 3 or more years' experience; or 5 or more years of relevant AND Unix\/Linux experience. \nCCNP or CCDP and ITIL foundations required. \nActive Secret Clearance required.\n\n
