Responsibilities:You will develop and apply quantitative models to support the discovery and development of therapeutic drug candidates. We are looking for scientists with expertise in modeling and simulation to join our team. You’ll use various analytical and computational tools to understand the factors that influence the pharmacokinetic and pharmacodynamic properties of our drugs. We need a dynamic and driven scientist who will:
Integrate quantitative approaches into drug discovery and/or developmentConduct modeling and simulation to inform drug discovery and/or development programs.Communicate quantitative data, both internally and in the scientific communityProvide scientific leadership to project teams in selecting the right target, molecule, dose, patient population, and development strategies.Basic Qualifications:PhD in DMPK, Pharmacometrics, Pharmacokinetics/Pharmacodynamics, Pharmaceutics, Biology, Computational Sciences, Engineering, Chemistry, Statistics, Toxicology or a related subject areaOr, MS and at least 5 years industry or academic experience in PBPK, QSP, PK/PD, exposure-response modeling, clinical trial simulation, drug-drug interactions, special populations, or other modeling & simulation related fieldAdditional Skills/Preferences:Experience using relevant software such as Phoenix, NONMEM, R, SimCYP, Gastroplus, Monolix, Python, MATLAB, or similarAdept at working with cross-functional colleaguesThorough understanding of pharmacokinetics and/or pharmacodynamic principles along with an ability to clearly communicate theories and concepts.Excellent self-management and organizational skillsDemonstrated strong communication skillsLilly is dedicated to helping individuals with disabilities to actively engage in the workforce, ensuring equal opportunities when vying for positions.
