Our Corporate R&D organization is seeking an experienced Senior Scientist in Modeling & Simulation to help drive product and process innovation through advanced systems modeling. This role will be based at our Reading Innovation Centre where you will be part of a collaborative organisation crossing numerous scientific domains, leveraging your expertise in mathematical modeling, statistical techniques, chemistry, physics, and engineering to deliver new-to-the-world products and processes.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop, connect and maintain digital twins of advanced manufacturing processes, driving product superiority and sustainable practices.
Lead the process and product systems modeling and simulation capabilities at P&G, contributing to innovative solutions that address complex challenges.
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior scientists and colleagues across the organization.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and integration of modeling efforts with business objectives.

Job Qualifications
What we are looking for:
A PhD in Chemical Engineering.
Recognized leader in process systems modeling, with demonstratable experience in commercial applications, particularly in powder processing, complex liquid manufacturing, and skin care applications.
Proficient in gPROMS software (preferred), Pyomo, or Modelica, with hands-on experience in deriving and solving Partial Differential Equations.
Experience in custom model creation and a strong foundation in multivariate statistics and optimization techniques.
