HX5 is seeking a Model-Based Systems Engineer to join our team at Eglin AFB, Florida. 

Basic Duties: 

Knowledge and experience in supporting and conducting simulation studies to include but not be limited to system and component performance, engineering trade-offs, system effectiveness, and logistics. Knowledge and experience must include reviewing modeling work for compliance with regulations and best practices Developing and maintaining modeling best practices; analyzing complex problems Developing relevant models and constraints to run complex dynamic structural, thermal or other analyses; and Reviewing and supporting work to develop appropriate models to solve complex weapon system issues.

Education and Experience:

Undergraduate engineering degree from an ABET-accredited college. Bachelor's degree with five (5) years of professional experience; OR a Master's degree with three (3) years of professional experience

Preferences:

Prior experience or knowledge in any of the following:

SysML Cameo Tool Suite (MagicDraw) IBM Rational Rhapsody, Capella Jira Siemens Team Center Knowledge of IEEE 1220 Standard Rapid Prototyping Data analytics

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:

This is a full-time position requiring 40 hours per week and offers a flexible work schedule Monday through Friday during core business hours.

Other Position Requirements:

Proof of U.S. Citizenship is a requirement for this position. Must be able to complete a U.S. government background investigation. Must be able to obtain and maintain the required clearance by date of hire.
