PRIMARY FUNCTION

The Modeling and Simulation Integrator will support the Missile Defense Agency Directorate for Wargames and Exercises. The Integrator will execute engineering tasks associated with supporting Combatant Command (CCMD) exercises with designing, building, and running modeling and simulations of ballistic missile defense systems and ballistic missile threats.  The Integrator will execute planning, configuring, monitoring, and implementation of Battle Management system parameters into simulation software such as MDASIM and EADSIM to support distributive virtual and constructive exercises modeling Ballistic Missile Defense (BMD) systems and Ballistic Missile threats.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

The M&S Integrator will support the technical lead in all aspects of Missile Defense System (MDS) Wargames and Exercises modeling and simulation.   The Integrator will conduct System Engineering Integration and Test (SEI&T) element pre-test coordination, event execution, pre and post mission testing.  Responsibilities range from weekly planning meetings to technical work involved with diverse network and architecture configurations. The candidate will configure and conduct on-console support on designated modeling and simulation workstations that support CCMD and MDA BMD exercises. The candidate will assist with identifying risks and developing mitigation strategies.   

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

There are no supervisory responsibilities for this position.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES:

Software development experience.

CompTIA Security+ certification.

Experience with DoD Wargames and Exercises.

Familiarity with the DoD Joint Event Life Cycle process.

Familiarity with MDASIM, OSM, EADSIM and other modeling and simulation software.

Ability to configure and operate Windows and LINUX workstations.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Secret Clearance

BS in an engineering or computer science field.

7 years relevant experience to include DoD test processes and/or test execution.
