EF EXE MF Modelshop – Mechanical Technician

We are looking for an Mechanical Technician, with a mechanical workshop mentality that takes a pivotal role as a linking pin between the ASML short time to market for production requests and the related proto challenges ahead to solve.
Job Mission
As a Modelshop Team Member you will be operating in a fast paced and multidisciplinary development environment. Using your personal skills, you will work closely together with Factory and Development and engineering teams to optimize the effectiveness and efficiency of the product generation process.
Job Description
You are primary responsible to ensure on time delivery with the right quality of the requested parts.
Operate conventional milling/turning machineOperate CNC milling and turning machineSupport organization in cleanroom environment when disturbances occurProducing parts/proto’s/dummy’s with mechanical machining (conventional and CNC Machining).Check TPD and give advice about the manufacturability.Research into manufacturability, quality improvement and optimization of the machining process.Must be a team player able to work in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks and demands.Equipment maintenance, materials handling and cleaning of the machines.Ensure quality on output of outgoing parts from the Modelshop.Regular tune with internal/external customers about the short term needs and priority’s. Communicate this information to the other team members.
Take care of the contacts within the team as well as the team members and internal/external customers.
Able to receive feedback and find solutions to complaints from external customer.

MBO
Experience
Preferably 5+ years’ experience in high tech development environment or proto experience.
Proficient in Microsoft office programs (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)
Experience in NX CAD/CAM is needed or other CAD/CAM software. In addition experience in Heidenhain or relevant software is preferred.

The holder of this position reports to the mechanical Modelshop Manager within the EF PS EXE 5000 department.
Interfaces with: Factory, Project leaders, Development and engineering.
This position requires access to controlled technology, as defined in the United States Export Administration Regulations (15 C.F.R. § 730, et seq.). Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to access such controlled technology prior to beginning work. Business demands may require ASML to proceed with candidates who are immediately eligible to access controlled technology.
