Otis Elevator Company is searching for a highly motivated Modernization Sales Representative to promote innovative solutions with current and potential customers.

Essential Responsibilities

Proactively identify, respond to, and win modernization projects to include; identifying bid opportunities, preparing bid responses, creating presentations, negotiating with potential customers

Build and maintain relationships with potential and existing customers

Provide basic elevator consultation to customers by visiting job sites, including basic techniques such as handling capacity and waiting time

Implement the modernization sales installation processes by working directly with field management on modernization projects and coordinating activities and information concerning the modernization of all equipment

Oversee job details throughout sales process, including managing contract documents, creating approvals and layouts and tracking to completion.

Education / Certifications

Bachelor’s Degree

Basic Qualifications

3+ years sales experience ( Account management and/or Outside sales), required.

Ability to work in a highly team-oriented and dynamic environment

Candidate must demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively develop expectations and relationships with internal and external customers

Needs to be self-motivated and able to manage many simultaneous projects and responsibilities

Successful candidate should be very comfortable in a technical environment utilizing Microsoft based computer software

Outstanding sales/negotiation skills and goal-orientated with strong time management and organizational skills

Preferred Qualifications

Elevator industry experience preferred

The range for this role is $70,000 to $90,000.  Pay within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, and business or organizational needs.
