The East Rochester Boys Baseball program is currently recruiting a Modified Baseball Coach. Job Qualifications Coaching Qualifications: + Ability to teach fundamental skills and team concepts of baseball. + Ability to interact with student-athletes of different ages and skill levels in a positive and professional manner. + Candidates should demonstrate a high degree of integrity as the staff is considered to be role models for students. + Motivate and mentor student-athletes. Coaching Requirements: + A valid New York State teaching certificate in Physical Education (K-12) or another teaching area, a Professional Coaching Certificate, or eligibility for a Temporary Coaching License + Valid and appropriate First Aid, CPR, and AED certificates for coaches at the time of appointment + Willingness to complete the Identification and Reporting of Child Abuse and SAVE Workshops within the first year of coaching + Willingness to enroll in and complete the Coaching Eligibility Program through the Monroe 2-Orleans BOCES (585-352-2606) or Monroe 1 BOCES (585-249-7026) (or equivalent program) within the first three years of coaching Position Start Date:03/01/2025 Application Deadline:01/31/2025 Job Number: MBAS
