Physician Affiliate Group of New York (PAGNY) is adding a MOHS Surgeon to the Dermatology

group at NYC Health + Hospitals/Metropolitan. The hospital is part of NYC Health + Hospitals. Metropolitan Hospital accommodates over 313,000 outpatient visits, nearly 70,000 emergency room visits and more than 13,000 inpatient admissions annually. The hospital maintains a strong academic affiliation with New York Medical College to maintain its high healthcare delivery standards.

Responsibilities Provide MOHS surgical services to a dedicated patient panelAttend to a full spectrum of dermatological oncology procedures in a highly diverse patient populationEducation of residents, medical students, and junior medical staffPer diem opportunity Qualifications

Qualifications:

Graduate from an accredited medical schoolUnrestricted NYS medical license, or the ability to obtain oneGraduate from a Dermatology residencyBoard certified in DermatologyFellowship trained in MOHS Surgery - Board Certification preferred but not requiredPrevious experience teaching residents preferredCultural sensitivity to a diverse and under-served patient population

Malpractice Provided Per Diem Rate: $106.77/hour
