MOI Director
We are currently accepting resumes for the position of Director, MOI/Standardization. This position is responsible for the development, coordination and implementation of policy and procedures in support of Methods of Instruction, Quality Control function and Standardization for the supported divisions. Primary function is to ensure that Quality Control actions are in consonance with the requirements outlined in the flight training contract. Reports directly to the Director of Quality. A. To be considered for this position an applicant must meet all of the following qualifications and skill requirements: Must have a Bachelor degree in Education, Aviation or Business applicable to this position. Must have five years’ experience in rotary wing flight training. Must have a minimum of 1500 hours experience in aircraft with 500 hours experience as a flight instructor, with at least 250 hours of flight instructor time in the rotor class category and in a helicopter class aircraft. Must have a current FAA Second Class Medical Certificate. Must have 50 hours in aircraft type/design within the last six (6) months. An exception will be granted to an applicant who does not meet this requirement due to their current assignment. Must have experience in conducting a comprehensive flight training quality control program. Must be certified Night Vision Goggle (NVG) qualified and having 200 hours of NVG time. Must not exceed 250 lbs. when weighed in the flight duty uniform. Be able to speak and write English effectively. Be able to communicate effectively with large and small diverse audiences. Be able to establish effective, cooperative, professional working relationships with Company and customer management. Note: Waivers to certifications, ratings, qualifications, and education or experience requirements may be requested if an individual is otherwise eminently qualified. B. Essential responsibilities for this position include but are not limited to: Supervises employees including ensuring staff is adequately trained; coordinates workloads, priorities, and schedules to ensure timely and effective completion of work; and Monitors and evaluates staff performance. Manages and coordinates operations to ensure operating effectiveness, efficiency and standardization are in compliance with the Statement of Work and company policies and procedures. Interfaces with Government officials on diverse issues and problems. Works to resolve operational and standardization problems and issues.
