**Job Title: Mold Technician** **Job Description** As a Mold PM Technician, you will perform deep cleaning and preventative maintenance on molds, tooling, fixtures, and other mold components. You will read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. You will also troubleshoot abnormal conditions and perform minor mold repairs to maintain production requirements. **Responsibilities** + Perform deep cleaning and preventative maintenance on molds, tooling, fixtures, and other mold components. + Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. + Troubleshoot abnormal conditions and perform minor mold repairs to maintain production requirements. + Address issues related to injection mold process, including machines running too hot, water leakage, back pressure in screw, and water introduction to the product. + Resolve mechanical issues with hydraulics, molds, and presses. + Operate overhead cranes, forklifts, and rigging equipment. + Handle molds ranging from 650 to 2700 tons. **Essential Skills** + Experience with injection press, specifically in plastics or rubber. + Robot experience (e.g., Star, Motoman - 6 axis). + Ability to perform startups and changeovers. + Mold condition setting. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience with mold troubleshooting and mechanical repairs. + Knowledge of injection mold and injection blow molding processes. + Understanding of plastic injection molding and injection moulding. **Why Work Here?** Enjoy a weekly attendance bonus, with the opportunity to earn $1.50 more per hour.
