Looking for a new opportunity? We're immediately hiring Mold Setters for Heartland Automotive in Greencastle, IN! This role is responsible for removing and setting all mold auxiliary equipment, maintaining production targets, and complying with all company standard operating procedures.

Check with supervisor for verification of the status of the molds that must be installed or removed during each shift.Remove mold from press after shutdown is completed.Return all molds, fixtures and auxiliary equipment to their proper storage location in the plant.Follows 3S3D and TS16949 producers.Set all molds and auxiliary equipment per the mold set-up instructions and mold set-up procedure.Connects all water lines, hydraulics and electrical connections to molds and equipment at start including thermolators, chillers and other related equipment.Connect all knockout and ejector bars as needed.Clean all set-up tools, equipment and any spilled water.Follow all safety producers. Efficiently manages time and completing all task assigned. Reports damage, defects and other issues pertaining to molding non-conformances to supervisors. 

Ensuring the compliance of all company policies and the Occupational Safety and health administration rules (OSHA) while conducting work functions.Ability to work mathematical concepts such as: fractions, percentages, ratios and proportions to practical situations.Must have the ability to use micrometers, gauges and other related equipment. Must be able to read and understand work instructions.

Associate Requirements Background Check Able to Lift 50 pounds Drug Test Must be at least 18 years old The hourly rate for this position is anticipated between $17.00 - $22.00 per hour. This range is a good-faith estimate, based on the shift you work and other considerations permitted by law. An employee's pay history will not be a contributing factor where prohibited by local law.
