Job Description
Die Setters will have a primary focus on proper set up of mold changes and Processor duties.
ResponsibilitiesOperate hoists to pull and set molds (size of car).Perform all material handling duties.Troubleshoot all backside setup duties.Install hot runner cables, set up and load robot program.Load and verify processes to set up checklist.Ensure cell layout matches blue book.Complete the setup checklist.Purge new material in preparation for startup.Perform simple startups under the direction of a Process Technician.Ensure all components/materials from the previous job have been removed from the area.Verify housekeeping is completed prior to press startup.Perform mold changes as needed, per Shift Manager/Lead instruction.Essential SkillsAt least 6 months of plastic injection molding mold setting experience.Ability to articulate experience with mold setup, equipment used, and materials worked with.Proficiency in plastics injection molding, mold setup, die setting, and molding machine operations.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with injection mold changeovers and setup machine operations.Why Work Here?

Work Environment
The facility is clean, up-to-date, and includes two break rooms, one of which has been recently updated with a TV, free coffee, and free fountain machines. Vending machines are also available for food purchases. The plant is not temperature-controlled, so it can get warm due to the injection molding machines. Large shipping doors are kept open on cool days to help cool down the plant.

This is a Permanent position based out of Saline, Michigan.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $41600.00 - $41600.00/yr.

Benefits day 1 for salaried employees and benefits after 30 days for hourly employees.
3 weeks PTO but will be changing soon with ESTA in Feb.
$10k relocation bonus (would rather relocate someone from out of state than someone in GR or Detroit).
