This position reports to

Production Manager

Your role and responsibilities

Ensure all machines are running at a standard rate, cavitation, and cycle time.Perform quality checks at predetermined times and record on all products being molded to ensure all parts produced are to the highest acceptable quality level.Monitor machines to insure proper functions and safety.Notify appropriate persons when there is a machine or tool malfunction.Load and unload product bins or containers as necessary.5-S and daily check list form on presses and surrounding area (clean presses and surrounding area daily).Complete daily molding log book (press report) and press board.Check material levels at presses if material is needed contact material mixer.Refill dryer were needed (cells D, E, H, & I).Pull / Set molds based on production requirements. (Team Leaders & Supervisors)Perform machine and equipment inspections as required.Perform daily and / or weekly PM’s as required.Perform diagnostics on production process and equipment problems determining necessary corrective actions.Provide training to shift personnel regarding standard operating procedures and processing techniques.

Qualifications for the role

High School diploma or GED.Injection molding technical education preferred.3 – 5 years experience in a technical capacity in molding.Minimum training in leadership is preferred. Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US
