Become a **maker of possible** with us. **ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS** Operate and monitor the performance of a group of injection molding machines, auxiliary equipment and assembly/packaging machines in accordance with the standard operating procedures and production and quality standards. Monitors and records machine processes, visually inspects product, prepares product for release, and maintains and controls all quality equipment. Ensures compliance with BD quality systems, policies, and procedures, as well as standard methodologies and all local, state, federal, and BD safety regulations, policies, and procedures. Regular, punctual attendance is an essential job function. Ability to read and write and converse in English. Willing and able to uphold BD Values. We are the makers of possible **JG2** **PCP Level -4** **Shift: C shift** **Resume Required** **PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES** **Responsibilities include but are not limited to:** + Setup and troubleshooting of injection molding processes using systematic methodologies and standard operating procedures. + Perform preventative maintenance on equipment. + Work with Mold Repair to maintain production efficiencies. + Perform changeovers and work with Inspectors for first piece approvals. + Document all press activity as required. + Perform general housekeeping around the press and maintain safe work environment. + Other duties as required to support the needs of the business. **DELIVERABLES:** + Ensure quality molding output by setting up, troubleshooting and maintaining molding equipment. **QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:** **Minimum Education** **:** + High School Diploma or equivalent experience is required. **Minimum Experience** **:** + 3-5 years technical manufacturing experience required. + Molding experience/scientific molding techniques preferred. + Proven proficiency in mechanical tasks. **Minimum Knowledge, Skills, or Abilities (KSA’s)** **:** + Computer skills: Basic or Simple + Communication skills: Basic or Simple + Mechanical aptitude: Proficient/Working + Microsoft office: Proficient/Working For certain roles at BD, employment is contingent upon the Company’s receipt of sufficient proof that you are fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
