We are looking for a talented Mold/Set Up Technician to join our growing team. This person performs mold changes including the set up of all required auxiliary equipment needed to begin new production runs.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible to achieve the minimum possible mold change/set-up time.Mold changes to include the following:-Proper watering of molds
-Proper clamping of molds
-Basic machine operations
-Basic machine set-up: barrel heats, pressures, timers, clamp settings, and all clamp functions.
-Safety responsibilities
-Properly reading mold schedule and mold identification.
Maintain machine cleanliness to include the following:-Build proper chutes to contain parts as ejected from machines.-Clean purge and excess material from machines.
-Remove any parts, etc. from under machines.
Maintain a safe work environment by following all safety standards and procedures.This job description does not list all the duties of the job. RequirementsEDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS: Must maintain a valid driver’s license. Forklift license required. (We can train!)
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/TASKS/ABILITIES:
· Knowledge of set-up for injection molding machines.
· Good communication skills
· Problem Solving ability
· Must demonstrate reliability by maintaining an excellent attendance record at all times.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Must be able to stand at a machine for the entire shift; occasionally required to stoop, kneel, or crouch.Frequently required to use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms.Ability to lift at least 50 pounds.Vision abilities include close vision, depth perception and ability to focus.
