About the Role
This position reports directly to the Molding Operations Manager and is responsible for the general and specific job duties of Decostar as described below:
Your Responsibilities Lead the shift and participate in team activities to maintain and continuously improve on IMM department/shift performance goals. Prepare management summary reports and trend charts detailing department key efficiency operating indicators. Communicate and liaison with the department manager all data necessary to ensure timely resolution of quality and downtime issues, and to expedite the brainstorming and decision making process. Assess the abilities of personnel and resources, and allocate them to the areas of their greatest expertise and utilization. Ensure that all accidents are properly reported and accident investigations are completed within 24 hours. Who we are looking for Operational knowledge of management information systems, use of personal computers and application software. Minimum three to five years supervisory experience. Minimum six years technical experience in a manufacturing environment preferable in injection molding. Your preferred qualifications Bachelor's degree in mechanical or electrical engineering. Six years work related experience might be substituted in lieu of degree. Work experience combined with current schooling towards degree will be considered. Demonstrated organizational, communication, problem solving and people skills. The ability to coordinate other shift activities in addition to functional responsibility for his/her own shift operations.
