Monetization Strategy Specialist

What you'll do As a Monetization Strategy Specialist focused on Analytics and Insights, you’ll be responsible for enabling our executive team to make key strategic decisions by creating clear, insightful fact bases and highlighting the strategic implications of your analyses. You’ll work with a mix of quantitative and qualitative data to understand the performance of our product pricing and packaging, and collaborate with sales, finance, product, and operations teams to improve our business results and accelerate growth across our company. This is a unique opportunity for a highly driven individual with skills that spans data analytics, qualitative research, problem solving, and SaaS business strategy. You must excel at working with data and turning it into clear, actionable insights that can drive the business forward. Comfort with tackling strategic questions, structuring and driving analyses, attention to detail, and experience working in a fast-paced environment are a must. This position is an individual contributor role reporting to the Monetization Strategy Principal. Responsibility Maintain the SQL datasets and Tableau dashboards the Pricing team uses for essential analyses and reporting Analyze Docusign sales data and product usage data to develop key business insights (e.g., How are products being priced and sold? What trends are emerging? What features are customers using most often? Where do we have opportunities to create more customer value?) Identify, incorporate, and analyze external secondary research to supplement our internal data (e.g., competitive intelligence, industry reporting) Create and analyze data from primary research (e.g., surveys, interviews) conducted by Docusign and our research partners Communicate business insights identified in the analysis by creating clear, concise, and persuasive presentations and delivering them to key partners Job Designation Hybrid: Employee divides their time between in-office and remote work. Access to an office location is required. (Frequency: Minimum 2 days per week; may vary by team but will be weekly in-office expectation) Positions at Docusign are assigned a job designation of either In Office, Hybrid or Remote and are specific to the role/job. What you bring Basic 5+ years of relevant experience, or 3+ years of experience with a Masters Degree in a related field 2+ years of experience in an analytical role, particularly distilling big data sets into actionable insights that drive business value SQL, Excel, and Tableau skills, including the ability to clean, blend, and prep large quantities of data Preferred Previous analytical experience at a top tier consulting firm or within pricing or strategy teams in a technology company Ability to create and present data in a visual format and explain the insights clearly and concisely Attention to detail in execution Strong collaboration, verbal and written communication skills Passionate about analytics and their ability to drive impact across our business, across the industry, and around the world Cloud software or high tech experience Ability to think strategically and creatively to solve complex problems Analytical skills with the ability to analyze and interpret data Strong track record of working on cross-functional projects across diverse teams and organizational boundaries Wage Transparency Pay for this position is based on a number of factors including geographic location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Based on applicable legislation, the below details pay ranges in the following locations: California: $114,200.00 - $177,100.00 base salary Washington: $109,600.00 - $156,950.00 base salary This role is also eligible for bonus and benefits.
