Responsibilities

Provides excellent quality care as a Cardiology technician performing EKGs and Stress Tests as required for patients at Arizona General Hospital

Greets customers politely and professionally and directs them appropriately.Gives patient general exam information, including approximate time of procedure.Keeps patients informed of delays.Proficient in performance of EKGS, testing of both inpatients and outpatients.Proficient performing Stress Tests on outpatients and inpatients on pharmacologic as well as regular stress tests.Communicates positively with good customer relations to all patients as well as fellow coworkers.Performs editing of EKGs within the department and assists with the maintenance of the MUSE system. Answers routine telephone calls in an appropriate manner.

Qualifications
Minimum:HS diploma or GED equivalent

Completion of basic EKG class or successful completion of the basic Rhythm test

Current American Heart Association BLS card

Minimum of one year experience as a cardiology technician or experience as a monitor technician

Preferred:

Previous skills in EKG and stress test performance
