High School graduate or equivalent. Ability to comprehend medical terminology, hospital experience or satisfactory completion of training program preferred. Ability to flex his/her work schedule to meet the demands of the unit. Required to provide a positive image of the hospital to the community.  Must demonstrate effective communication and interpersonal skills. Requires a stable emotional make-up to work and remain calm in a stressful, fast paced environment. Must have or be willing to attend basic CPR certification.  Any exceptions must be approved by department manager and administration.
