Job Overview:
The Monitoring Technician is responsible for on-going surveillance of patient cardiac monitors and provides RNs and/or clinicians with immediate notification of any changes in cardiac rhythms. The technician delivers telemetry to in patient units and performs monitor connection/discharge, patient preparation, and teaching related to the monitor.
Qualifications:
Required:
+ High school graduate or equivalent
+ BLS for Healthcare Provider certification required
Preferred:
+ Telemetry and/or successful completion of a cardiac dysrhythmia course preferred
Scheduling Requirements:
+ Flex Schedule
+ Coverage for day, evening and weekend shift
Pay Range:
$ 24.64 Hourly Rate
