JOB SUMMARY

The Monitor Technician is responsible for ongoing surveillance of patient cardiac monitors and provides Nurses and/or clinicians with immediate notifications of any changes in cardiac rhythms.  The Technician assists with maintenance of monitoring equipment through delivery, pick up, and cleaning of telemetry equipment.  Monitor Technicians must possess effective communication skills.

Minimum Education

● High School or equivalent.

● No previous experience.
