The purpose of this job is to oversee and manage the day-to-day operations of the Mortgage Loan Central Processing Department.

Responsibilities Cross-train, lead and develop team of associates to promote maximum productivity, engagement, succession planning and overall contribution to the strategic organizational goals. Directly manage processing function monitoring file status to ensure timely and correct processing.Train processors on new products, procedures, investor guidelines, etc.Process and Close Assumptions and CP Modifications.Track service performance of processors by working closely with Sales Manager and Originators to ensure quality service.Problem resolution on files in process with Originators, Realtors, Underwriters, and clients.Develop and enhance Processing Departments processes and procedures to ensure efficiency.Perform additional duties as assigned. Qualifications Junior college/two-year college training or related work experience5 years of Mortgage Processing experience requiredKnowledge of mortgage lending, including loan processing and originatingThorough understanding of employee coaching techniquesExceptional organizational skills and ability to efficiently handle workflowsAbility to communicate will with clients and people at all levels of the organizationAbility to manage, train and motivate team membersStrong customer service skillsSupervisory experience preferred

Physical Requirements/Working Conditions:  Must be able to sit for long periods of time and use computer keyboard and/or mouse, while viewing computer screens.
