This role arises from the need to manage an increased animation workload during a team member's leave.As part of a collaborative team of designers, copywriters, and an editor, the Motion Designer will create compelling motion design projects that support non-marketing, consumer-facing initiatives such as: Philanthropic efforts Recruiting events Leadership messaging Internal communications Impact reports Videos will range in length from 15 seconds to 3 minutes, requiring both strong technical animation skills and creative, conceptual input to ensure visually engaging content. *If they have video editing skills, this position could increase to 30-40 hours *Responsibilities: Design and animate motion graphics using Adobe After Effects, Photoshop, and Illustrator. Collaborate with the Brand Design team to conceptualize and execute animations that align with project goals. Work on a variety of internal and consumer-facing projects with a focus on storytelling and impact. Ensure all visuals meet State Farm's brand standards and maintain a high level of quality. Manage project timelines and deliverables in a fast-paced environment. Qualifications: Proficiency in Adobe After Effects, Photoshop, and Illustrator. Demonstrated experience in motion design and animation with a strong portfolio showcasing engaging, high-quality work. Creative and conceptual skills to contribute to the overall visual direction. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Strong organizational and time management skills to meet deadlines.
