Marsh is seeking candidates for the position of Motor Claims Adviser.

We are currently seeking a talented individual to join our Claims Management team at Marsh. This role will be based in either Auckland or Wellington. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.

This role will suit an experienced claims handler with 1-2 years of previous motor claims experience.  The successful candidate will provide high-level claims management services to clients and brokers through consulting, advisory, advocacy, and negotiation

We will count on you to:

Manage basic to standard complexity claims, liaising with clients, insurers, claimants, and external providers while maintaining strong relationships.

Meet service levels outlined in the Client Service Agreement and respond promptly to queries from clients and brokers.

Conduct claims investigations, analyze claims history data, and determine claim settlements for under-deductible claims.

Drive the settlement negotiation process and advocate for clients in response to insurer denials of liability.

What you need to have:

Professional Accreditation: Tier 1 and Associate member of ANZIIF.

1-2 years of previous claims handling experience.

Strong understanding of policy wordings and claims processes.

Proficiency in data entry and claims administration using systems like Clearsight.

What makes you stand out:

Experience in end-to-end claims management, preparing routine and ad hoc reports, including claims trends analysis and quarterly/annual claims reviews.

Ability to conduct training for clients and participate in continuous improvement projects within the Claims Team.

Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with a proven track record of successful client advocacy.
