We have a great opportunity for an experienced Motor Claims Handler to join our Claims Team in Bucharest.
In this role, you will proactively manage a diverse portfolio of motor claims, including own damage, third party damage, and personal injury claims for Corporate Clients. Your main focus will be to ensure that service delivery meets client expectations.
You will be responsible for efficiently and professionally concluding claims while keeping all parties informed throughout the process. Effective communication with various stakeholders is essential. This role is suitable for experienced Commercial Claims Handlers looking for a new challenge, as well as claims handlers from a Paralegal, Loss Adjusting, or Personal lines background who are seeking a more focused "commercial" opportunity to further develop their skills.
The expectation is to work in the office three days per week on average, with the flexibility to work remotely two days per week.

We will rely on you to:
Proactively managing an assigned caseload
Promptly and accurately handling client requests and queries
Reviewing and understanding incoming documentation and new claims notifications under the supervision of senior colleagues
Identifying potential problems or contentious claims and seeking guidance or advice when necessary
Determining coverage for incoming claims based on policy knowledge
Analyze technically the repair estimates received and approve / pay the amounts due
Check the invoices received and/or claims for compensation and record the payment of damage files in the system system, according to the competences established by internal rules
Verify the parts ordered by repair units from Allianz approved suppliers and carry out their payment
Escalating complex issues to senior colleagues and claims advocates
Liaising with advocates and/or clients to address claims-related issues or client service concerns
Communicating with clients, beneficiaries, third parties, or insurers to receive status updates and resolve queries
Generating, validating, and distributing claims reports to ensure accurate records
Facilitating collection from insurers on small claims and tracking ongoing work for common claims settlements
What you need to have:
Demonstrable claims handling experience
Effective communication in Romanian and English
Insurance industry experience
Understanding of insurance products.
Ability to influence and build relationships.
Ability to prioritise and organise own workload
knowledge of loss assessment applications (e.g. audatex, dat),
road and insurance legislation
