PRIMARY PURPOSE

Drives and maintains the Senior Care Van, ensuring the safety of vehicle and supports program staff in outreach and screening efforts in the community.

MINIMUM SPECIFICATIONS

Education:

None

Experience:

Must have six months related driving experience.

Equivalent Education and/or Experience:

None

Certification/Registration/Licensure:

Must have a Texas Class C Driver License.

 

Must be able to pass the CPR-Heartsaver within three months of employment from one of the following: American Heart Association American Red Cross Rescuer Military Training Network.

Skills or Special Abilities:

Must be able to maintain a driving record that meets the criteria established by Parkland personnel policy. Must have good knowledge of vehicle maintenance and preventive maintenance. Must be able to work flexible hours and be available for on-call duty. Must be able to read, write, and understand verbal/written instructions. Must be able to communicate effectively.
