GENERAL DESCRIPTION\n\n Perform SE maintenance processes per the maintenance support requirements. Enters documentation of maintenance in NALCOMIS (VIDSMAFs).\n\n
DUTIES\n\nThe MVMSE shall have demonstrated maintenance knowledge, experience, and working level skills\/ability in:
a. General knowledge of CNAFINST 4790.2 (series) requirements.
b. NALCOMIS & VIDMAFs completion.\nThe MVMSE shall have Weight Handling Equipment certification and Test Director, Hydraulic Contamination certification, and I Level SE Tire and Wheel certification.\nThe MVMSE shall have a minimum of two (2)years in the last ten (10) years aircraft maintenance experience at an I level of repair (with two (2) years in each NEC area below emphasis in aviation support equipment repairs) and Aviation Quality Assurance Collateral Duty Inspector to the level of effort and complexity of the requirements of this SOW. Examples of acceptable experience: Navy Aviation Support Equipment Technician (AS) enlisted (E-5 through E-7). Graduate from Navy AS A or C schools or other military service equivalent. Possess one or more of the following NECs: AS-7603 (Support Equipment Air Conditioning and Mobile Maintenance Facility (MMF) Technician), AS-7606 (Support Equipment Gas Turbine Mechanic), AS-7607 (Support Equipment Tow Tractor Technician), AS-7612 (SE Hydraulic Intermediate Maintenance Technician), AS-7614 (Mobile Electric Power Plants Intermediate Maintenance Technician), or AS-7616 (Maintenance Crane Intermediate Maintenance Technician) enlisted (E-5 through E-7).\nOther duties as assigned\n\n
EDUCATION\/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS\n\nHigh School diploma or equivalent.\nMust have a minimum of two (2) years in the last ten (10) years aircraft maintenance experience at an I level of repair.\nGraduate from Navy AS A or C schools or other military service equivalent.\nMust have Weight Handling Equipment certification and Test Director, Hydraulic Contamination certification, and I Level SE Tire and Wheel certification.\nUp to 25% travel may be required\nMust be a US Citizen\nMust have or be able to obtain a National Agency Check with Investigation. The NACI process will include requesting a credit history.\n\n
