Our Buffalo Pump and Motor Repair Shop is looking for a skilled Motor Winder to join the team. The Motor Winder’s main responsibility is to assemble, repair, and maintain electric motors both in the shop and in the field. This is a full-time, on-site position. Monday – Friday. 7 AM – 3:30 PM. Motor Winder Responsibilities : + Assemble, repair, and maintain electric motors. + Test and rewind electric motor and generator stators, armatures, or rotors. + Inspect equipment and parts for damage, diagnose possible reason(s) for failure. + Provide information on parts/work required. + Provide recommendations to improve reliability of equipment. + Observe and adhere to Power-Flo Technologies safety procedures. + Maintain Power-Flo Technologies quality standards. Motor Winder Qualifications and Skills : + Experience specifically in winding AC/DC electric motor stators. + Familiar with various hand tools. + Familiar with power tools such as impact guns, cut off wheels, and drills. + Positive attitude and willingness to learn. + Good organizational skills and attention to detail. + Ability to work both independently and in a team setting. + Basic computer skills. + Must be able to regularly lift and/or move more than 25 pounds, frequently lift and/or move more than 50 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move more than 100 pounds. + Must have a valid and clean driver's license to operate company vehicles. Motor Winder Physical Requirements : + Ability to stand for up to 8 Hours. + Ability to lift 50 pounds. + Ability to work on elevated platforms. + Ability to climb ladders. + This position may require standing, stooping, bending, kneeling, crouching and/or reaching. + You may be exposed to dust, loud noises, and hot and cold conditions. + Good hand-eye coordination and fine motor skills may be required for hand tools, power tools, and other machinery.
