As our Postie based around Bundamba QLD, you’ll be operating and delivering on our *Motorcycle* as the face of our trusted business, at the heart of your community and connecting Australians every single day.
You might not be working from home, but you’ll be working autonomously out on-the-road, interacting with others and being a team player and it doesn’t get better than that!
*This position may transition to an Electric Delivery Vehicle from a motorcycle depending on future business requirements so applicants will need to be open to both modes of delivery when applying.*
You’ll be
Starting your day early in the morning, sorting mail and small parcels with your teammates at the facility Completing your own daily vehicle safety checkLoading your vehicle with your deliveries for the day Delivering outdoors in all types of weather to deliver to homes and businessesPaired up with our experienced Rider Mentors, who are committed to engage and take part in your professional development
About you
You hold a full or probationary QLD motorcycle licence and ride a geared motorcycle currently, regularly, and confidently On employment, you’ll need to successfully pass our mandatory and practical motorcycle assessmentYou are flexible with finishing times and working additional hours if requiredYou have a good memory, great hand/eye coordination, and excellent attention to detail for when sorting mailYou enjoy physical work indoors and outdoors and can lift up to 16kgs of Mail and Parcels regularly You will need to meet our safe working vehicle load limit of weighing under 100kgs fully clothed (including helmet)
