MISSION

Ensure good status of moulds for daily usage according to production plans.

GENERAL FUNCTIONS Create maintenance plans for all moulds and assure its follow up. Supervise the existing moulds reparation according to the delivery plans and with the specifications established. Attend daily meetings between the Moulds, Manufacturing and Quality Departments in order to suggest reparations and improvements in production flows. Control and supervise the optimum performance of people, equipments and machinery under his responsibility. Establish and implement the necessary budgetary control and monitoring measures. Report the Hierarchical Manager its performance indicators and improvement actions plans. Participate in injection forums, escalate lesson learned. Supervise in time and cost all reparation that can’t be done internally. Report the Supervisor about the main effectiveness and efficiency ratios of its supervised area.

 

Observe Ficosa’s Code of Ethics to avoid fraudulent practices. Comply with Information Security Management System (ISMS) applicable to the job, along with the training related thereto. Lead the team, guaranteeing its effectiveness, development and motivation, fostering Ficosa's values. Provide the team with the necessary means to comply with OHSE rules, ensuring they are properly used. Actively cooperate in maintaining, promoting and improving the OHSE and Quality department.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS Academic background:  

University degree or medium grade in Engineering

Languages:   Basic in English (spoken & written) Experience:

2 years in a similar position or 5 years in the metal sector

OTHER SPECIFICATIONS Additional training: Knowledge in Moulds. Basic training in OHSE management.
