PURPOSE /OBJECTIVE The Mounter Apprentice is responsible to learn the skillset to become a Journeyman Operator. Essential Duties & Responsibilities: \u2022 Learn to set up and operate mounter. \u2022 Learning the skills necessary to operate assigned machinery. \u2022 Responsible for prepping machine for the next production run. \u2022 Evaluate production quality; bring concerns to the appropriate supervisor. \u2022 Assist in training other mounter personnel. \u2022 Troubleshoot production issues that may arise. \u2022 Responsible for the overall Safety and cleanliness of equipment and area. \u2022 Work in a safe and efficient manner in accordance with company policies and procedures. \u2022 Overtime is required. \u2022 Perform other duties as assigned Smurfit Westrock (NYSE:SW) is a global leader in sustainable paper and packaging solutions.
