We are currently seeking a **Movement Specialist** to support our client site in **Thousand Oaks, CA!** Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm Provides workstation evaluations for office environment employees to educate team members on proper ergonomic principals related to the setup of the workstation or behaviors of the employee. Instructs employees in prevention of repetitive stress injuries, document findings, and provide follow-up sessions as necessary to increase participant’s awareness of work habits. Responsible for accurate and timely tracking of evaluations, consults, follow-ups, and touch points for the client’s internal data collection and HealthFitness data tracking. **Key Accountabilities:** + Workstation Evaluations for both symptomatic and asymptomatic employees and contractors. + Providing and following through on all action plan recommendations, including equipment and behavioral recommendations. + Participation Tracking and Outcomes Reporting. + Employee Education and Coaching to alleviate discomfort associated with workstation use. + Working knowledge of applied physical activity training. + Appropriate Documentation & Management of Information. + Development and delivery of back care and other relevant education programs as requested. + Participation of teams and committees as required. + Participation in departmental training sessions. + Other duties as needed/assigned. **Minimum Requirements:** + Bachelor’s degree or Associates in Occupational Health, Industrial Engineering, Kinesiology, Exercise Science, Physical or Occupational Therapy or other degree in the health or safety discipline field, **_OR_** combination of education and experience. + CPR/AED and first aid certification + Solid verbal, written and presentation communication skills. + Solid understanding of office ergonomic foundation approaches to service. + Ability to successfully prioritize tasks. + Basic skills in Microsoft office. + Demonstrated ability to meet customer needs and shape behaviors through coaching on ergonomics related behaviors. Compensation: $26.00 - $30.00 per hour. Pay is dependent on experience and qualifications. Brand: HealthFitness Come join HealthFitness!
