ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

 

Lift, carry, and load furniture weighing up to 100 pounds onto box trucks for transport to and from NASA HQ locations.Deliver and set-up furniture as required/requested within committed time frames including furniture, equipment, and appliances.Respond to inquiries and requests in a professional manner.Provide problem-solving solutions when necessary.Demonstrate the ability to protect all items being transported and removed from damage through established best safety practices.Pack and unpack items in an organized and efficient manner. 

 

NON-ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

QUALIFICATIONS

 

 

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

 

Requirements/Licensing: Possess a valid driver’s license. Minimum Education: High Diploma.Minimum Experience: 1-3 years of experience as a Mover.

 

SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES:

 

Ability to operate a 24’ box truck.

ADDITIONAL QUALIFYING FACTORS:

 

 

As a condition of employment, must pass a pre-employment drug screening, as well as have acceptable reference and background check results. May be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Only US citizens are eligible for a security clearance. Must have or be eligible for security clearances. May require occasional travel.
