The Facilities Department is a full-service team capable of handling any of your relocation needs. We handle internal and external moves with an in-house staff. We have company trucks that are equipped with a lift gate.
The mission of the Facilities to preserve, maintain, and improve the infrastructure while also providing various services to the clients in support of their respective missions in the most cost-effective manner and without sacrifice to quality. 
Reports to:  Facilities Project Coordinator/Facilities Manager


WORK ENVIRONMENT:

Work is performed primarily indoors requiring the use of hand and power tools and other equipment.  

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: 
•    Relocation of employees and clients
•    Hanging pictures and boards
•    Rearranging office furnishings 
•    Assembly of various items 
•    Repair or replace broken furniture 
•    Reconfiguring cubicles 
•    Supplying furniture keys
•    Office checks for new hire and clients 
•    Provide necessary furniture for projects, clients, and departments
•    Delivery of boxes for moves
OTHER JOB DUTIES:
•    Maintain company trucks
•    Manage individual building storage units
•    Office walkthroughs that consist of looking for boxes, making sure all offices and cubicles are to Wood standards
•    Sending out job completions

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education and Training: 
High School Diploma or equivalent

Licensing and Certification: 
Valid Texas State Driver's License with a driving record free from serious or frequent violations.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
     
    •  Ability to read and follow written and oral instructions
    • Knowledge of standard hand and power tools and equipment used in Relocation activities.
    • Knowledge of safety standards and precautions pertaining to the use of tools and heavy physical labor. 
    • Drive moving trucks to and from locations, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations.
    • Ability to perform heavy manual labor, including bending, stooping, reaching, and lifting heavy objects. 

    • Physical strength and ability sufficient to meet job requirements for extended periods under uncomfortable conditions in all types of weather. Ability to climb on ladders, to work in confined spaces and to do moderate lifting and moving of furniture.
