Mowing Foreperson
Position Summary The Mowing Foreperson is responsible for helping with productivity and performing all regular maintenance services for our landscape maintenance division. This person manages a residential 2-3 person mowing crew. The Mowing Foreperson follows up with customers. This position will supervise crew associates, keep accurate mowing logs and documentation, communicate with customers, and resolve issues within the lawns.   Duties and Responsibilities Include Essential Duties: Knowledgeable of proper handling and operation of commercial mowing equipment Demonstrates the ability to skillfully strip, edge, and trim all types of residential lawns Performs detailed cleanup of clippings from hard surfaces and mulch beds Performs general equipment maintenance Assists with various peak season operations, including Spring Clean-Ups, Fall Clean-Ups, and snow removal Duties and responsibilities may change with or without notice   What You'll Bring to the Team Minimum of two (2) years of experience in residential mowing Minimum of two (2) years of experience using commercial mowing equipment (Exmark, Toro, Scag) Minimum of two (2) years of experience using commercial trimmers and blowers (Echo, Stihl)  Valid drivers license with an acceptable driving record per Company policy Knowledge of essential job functions and responsibilities Attention to detail Organizational skills Strong oral and written communication skills Ability to problem solve Meet all physical requirements of the position Pass all drug and alcohol screens as required by Company policy and, if applicable, required by DOT regulations 18 years of age or older, or 21 if CDL is required Legally authorized to work in the United States   Please note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive list of activities, duties, or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.
