As a Production and Inventory Control Planner, you will play a pivotal role in coordinating production plans, inventory management, and schedules, ensuring alignment with customer demand and optimal production efficiency. This position requires collaboration with sales, project management, operations, and procurement teams to streamline processes, enhance productivity, and achieve a balance between cost, service, and asset management.\n\nKey Responsibilities:\nDevelop and implement production plans and schedules in coordination with project management.\nCollaborate seamlessly with sales, project management, operations, and procurement teams to align production plans with demand forecasts and project timelines.\nMonitor and maintain optimal inventory levels through the analysis of sales trends, production capacity, and lead times.\nInitiation of item numbers and bills of materials in the inventory management system.\nUtilize proficiency in Microsoft and Smartsheet to enhance inventory control methods, demand forecasting, and optimization techniques.\nCreate and manage production schedules, ensuring on-time delivery and efficient resource utilization.\nCollaborate with project management to align schedules with project milestones and deadlines.\nWork closely with procurement, logistics, and suppliers to ensure timely availability of raw materials, components, and finished goods.\nMonitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to production output, on-time delivery, and inventory turnover.\nGenerate reports utilizing Microsoft and Smartsheet tools, providing insights to management on production and inventory performance.\nIdentify opportunities for process improvement and cost optimization in production planning and inventory control.\nUtilize experience/certifications related to supply chain, planning, and inventory management to implement best practices and ensure compliance.\nPrerequisites:\nBachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Business, or equivalent qualification.\n3+ years of work experience in supply chain.\nStrong knowledge of production planning principles, capacity management, and scheduling techniques.\nProficiency in Microsoft and Smartsheet for data analysis and reporting.\nDesired Qualifications:\nStrong knowledge of production planning principles, capacity management, and scheduling techniques.\nProficiency in Microsoft and Smartsheet for data analysis and reporting.\nAPICS Certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM), Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP), or Demand Driven Planner (DDP).\nExperience working in a fast-paced startup environment.\nAbility to pioneer and refine new processes.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr.
