The Role
The Senior Planner executes daily operational activities across the following areas withinh Supply Planning:
Material Supply Planning (MSP): Working with suppliers to ensure materials availability for site production, materials supply risk resolution and escalation, and materials inventory optimization. Material Supply Management (MSM): Working with suppliers and procurement function to drive supplier capability and agility, long terms capacity planning and business continuing planning. Master Production Scheduling (MPS): Working with plants on finished goods planning and scheduling, production capacity and volume control, and finished goods inventory optimization. New Production Development Planning (NPD): Initiatives capacity assessment, initiatives planning and coordination, PIPO Management. Risk Management and priorization, initiatives execution and delivery at market level. Support and input to Supply Network Design projects. Distribution Requirements Planning (DRP): Working with supply planning functions to ensure finished goods deployment and availability at the distribution centers, balancing service, cash, cost and sustainability. Risk management and prioritization for base business and launches. Leading and driving communication with Market regarding supply availability. Category Supply Planning - Deliver annual glide paths and action plans to deliver the corporate objectives for continuous improvement in Inventory and Fill Rate. Inventory management and performance, planning operating strategy definition and optimization, AOP and Production volumes coordination, and product discontinuation coordination and optimization. Planning Capabilities: System expertise including training and development, system enhancement planning SPOC for cross functional projects, establishing planning standards and system usage adherence.

Core Responsibilities
Plan complex production lines, supplier materials and/or production shipping to the DCs for the area of responsibility. Run relevant report, analyze the data for risk management purposes, identifying the priorities and aligning those with the business KPIs communicating at the daily direction setting meeting as appropriate. Communicate decisions made to Suppliers, DCs and Plants effectively and ensure all are working to relevant timelines deployed (short, medium and long-term timelines) Lead meeting with internal and external stakeholders up to and including middle management level. Lead the internal daily direction setting meeting across the relevant planning teams Own a complex process across the wider Planning department, coaching colleagues to execute, enxuring it is bening followed and continuously evolve/improve it Analyze data and information to proactively identify trends and issues, escalating and action planning as appropriate Key sytems user, supporting the team with functionality and leading configuration as necessary Coach and train Planners as necessary on systems and processes and support with the onboarding of new starters

Use the processes, systems, and tools available to ensure all tasks are value add Identify improvement opportunities for the area of responsibility, raising these as appropriate and implementing successfully (where possible)

Essential skills & Experience
Degree (or equivalent work experience) in a Supply Chain discipline Planning mastery - strong command of key systems (such as SAP, JDA, OMP, Excel) with technical experience of 2+ areas of Supply Chain Planning Effective communication skills up to and including Manager lever Delivering KPIs Strong analytical skills Experience of implementing and following core processes, tools, and improvements
