Under the Director of Imaging Services, our MRI techs operate diagnostic equipment and are responsible for the efficient daily operation of the M.R.I. Suite(s) which involves quality control/quality assurance of equipment, and magnetic resonance protocols.** **_Responsibilities Include:_** **Coordinating patient flow and the activities of the MRI Department; setting up and operating the M.R.I. Suite(s) to be utilized in the patient scanning procedure. Providing patient orientation, procedure explanation, positioning patients, calibrating equipment, pre and post diagnostic care to completion of test and documentation of findings. Maintaining patient safety through attention to detail, equipment safety checks, adhering to department policies, andeffectivelycommunicating with physicians, staff and patients.
