**Employment Type:** Full time **Shift:** Weekend Shift **Description:** Performs a wide variety of Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) examinations to produce high quality diagnostic images. **What the MRI Technologist Will Do:** + Utilizes MRI equipment to perform a variety of examinations. + Properly positions patients. + Administers specific medications as directed by the Radiologist or other physician. + Assists Radiologist in performing routine and/or special procedures. + Assesses patient’s condition to determine appropriate procedure and technique. + Provides instruction to x-ray students. + Explains exam and procedures and acquires patient history. + Monitors safety and comfort of patient. **What the MRI Technologist Will Need:** + Completion of American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) approved Radiologic Technology Program, or an MRI specific curriculum. + American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) certification, or board eligible within 6 months of hire. + Must be ARRT(MR) certified within 2 years of hire. + Certification in Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) within three months of hire. + Two years of experience as a Registered Radiologic Technologist. + Preferred: One year of experience as a Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) Technologist. **What the MRI Technologist will Work:** + Friday: 12am-8am & Saturday and Sunday: 8pm-8am + Weekend premium pay (25%) plus shift differential **Highlights:** + Day 1 benefits, no waiting period + Comprehensive benefit packages available including medical, dental, and vision + Paid time off + 403B Retirement + Colleague Referral Program to earn cash and prizes. + Unlimited career growth opportunities + Tuition Reimbursement **Our Commitment to Diversity and Inclusion** Trinity Health is one of the largest not-for-profit, Catholic healthcare systems in the nation.
