*Description* The New Milford Hospital seeks a FT MRI Tech - M-F 830-5, some evenings, some weekends Rates based on Full Years Experience and range from $43 - 53.76 + shift differentials. Summary: To administrer diagnostic MRI exams. Also responsible for MRI safety of all staff and patients. Supervise other techs and tech aides on a daily basis. Currently responsible for ACR Accreditations. Responsibilities: 1. 80% - Selects proper protocols and scanning. 2. 3% - Tests and applies all protocols. 3. 3% - Positions patients. 4. 3% - Screens patients. 5. 3% - Scheduling questions and staffing questions. 6. 2% - ACR Program (sole responsibility). 7. 2% - PACS and Meditech. 8. 4% - Trains new MRI Techs and Tech Aides. 9. Fulfills all compliance responsibilities related to the position. 10. Performs other duties as assigned. Education: HS GRAD/EQUIVALENT Other Information: Required: Minimum Experience: one year Desired: Working Conditions: Manual: significant manual skills/motor coord & finger dexterity Occupational: Some occupational risk Physical Effort: Medium to Heavy effort.
