We provide clinical excellence across a broad range of services right here at home. The MRI technologist will perform MRI examinations on patients, on both a scheduled and on-call basis. Facilitates patient flow, care and provides physicians with quality information necessary to obtain diagnosis and treatment. Obtains and examines requisition for MRI Scan order to gain information such as: procedure, patients’ condition, level of care and any other special notes or comments, lab results. Evaluates and reports any discrepancies to physicians, as evidenced by lack of critical incident. Verifies appropriate procedure to be performed by checking physician’s orders. Notifies physician if any discrepancies occur. Performs duties in support of the MRI Center mission to ensure the highest quality of patient care in an economically sound and efficient manner. Education and Training: High School Graduate or equivalent. MRI Registry upon availability. Experience and Knowledge: Two years’ diagnostic radiography experience recommended but not required.
