Atlantic Health System is seeking a per diem MRI Tech for the Radiology Unit at Chilton Medical Center. The shifts vary, including 2 weekend shifts per month. The hours are that would be needed for an 8-hour shift. A minimum of 5 shifts per month and flexibility in the schedule is needed. Essential Job Functions: The candidate selected for this position will: + The candidate selected for this position will promote a culture of healing, while accurately interpreting and performing all MRI imaging protocols + The candidate will practice in accordance with state, federal and professional standards + Must demonstrate knowledge of MR imaging equipment, including set-up, utilization, basic troubleshooting and proper care for all equipment + Will abide by strict MR Safety standards and evaluate MR scans for technical quality + EPIC and PACS will be used to manage patient workflow and transmit images for interpretation + Must be competent with IV skills and preparing/administering contrast media Minimum Education: + Completion of a 24-month AMA approved School of Radiologic Technology required License/Certifications: + ARRT Certified in MRI (Magnetic Resonance Imaging) + BLS/CPR certification + IV Certification preferred Relevant Experience: + 2 years MRI Experience, Siemens preferred ABOUT US At Atlantic Health System, our promise to our communities is; Anyone who enters one of our facilities, will receive the highest quality care delivered at the right time, at the right place, and at the right cost.
